In addition to agriculture; Ag Atlas has provided spatial solutions across a range of industries including architects, archaeologists, town planners, property developers and valuation officers across Australia. 

  • Our client was looking at creating a widespread development across his rural property and needed to understand the topography and visualise how the development would look. Instead of engaging a survey for a detailed contour survey which would’ve been expensive, we engaged Ag Atlas to create a topographic map of the property. Louis was happy to talk to us over the phone and provided us with a highly affordable quote compared to a traditional land survey within 30 min. The final map was excellent and exactly what our client needed at an affordable price.

  • We sold our farm this year when there was very little rainfall after summer. As a result our farm appeared extremely dry poor quality making it hard to sell. Louis mapped out what our property looked like in a typical year which no doubt improved buyer confidence and helped the process of selling.

  • Ag Atlas mapped the vegetation cover of our large sheep operation near Albury NSW. Although our farm has been in the family for generations, inconsistent rainfall in the area means it has always been difficult to work out which paddocks are best for grazing.

    The map drawn by Ag Atlas showed us the quality difference of soil and vegetation cover across our farm, and more importantly how it changes between each season. Thanks to Ag Atlas we feel much more confident in our decision about what land management practice are working and where we should be putting our livestock.
